Rowkin Pro Storefront & Wholesale Program Terms

Rules for business storefronts, automatic wholesale pricing, attribution, default 12% or assigned rates on net merchandise after discounts excluding shipping and tax, and manual payouts. Effective October 18, 2026; version 2026-10-18.v5.

1. Participation, acceptance & separate capabilities

These terms govern the Rowkin Pro storefront and wholesale program operated by Rowkin Energy, Inc. They supplement the Rowkin Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for this program. You must have authority to accept for your business, provide accurate information, and expressly agree to the current version presented at signup, commerce activation, or a requested store-specific commission rate. Rowkin records the accepted version, accepting account, and acceptance time. A draft storefront or older professional agreement is not acceptance of these terms.

Each Pro business receives one standard storefront automatically; employees do not receive separate business storefronts. With genuine accepted storefront terms and an eligible account, the storefront activates and goes live without a separate commerce application, commerce approval, or manual publish step. Businesses may participate in services, product-only resale, or both. Service participation alone requires its own applicable approval and Pro Service Program Terms. Product-only participation never authorizes electrical work or makes the business eligible for service search, matching, invitations, or appointments.

Saving authorized storefront changes updates the live storefront automatically; View storefront opens the actual saved storefront. A store may operate while its independent service application is awaiting review. A genuinely unaccepted agreement is never inferred from account creation or older service agreements. Rowkin retains oversight and may restrict, suspend, or hide a storefront for compliance, safety, abuse, or unresolved financial review. Suspension is not automatically lifted by saving or signing in. Activation does not guarantee sales or profit.

2. Retail sales & authorized wholesale buying

Rowkin administrators set retail and wholesale prices. Storefront purchases use the ordinary applicable retail catalog prices, subject to checkout validation and eligible discounts. Wholesale pricing applies automatically for eligible authorized business purchasing accounts with the required verified account and accepted storefront terms; service approval and a wholesale toggle are not required. The Pro dashboard Wholesale shop shows the ordinary retail price and the eligible wholesale price. Normal consumer-facing product pages show retail prices only, while an eligible business account's cart and checkout use the validated wholesale price automatically. Products without a configured wholesale price remain at their ordinary retail price; no wholesale price is assumed. Prices and availability are checked at checkout; a preview or cart is not a price guarantee.

Storefront commissions do not depend on the wholesale cost or the difference between retail and wholesale prices. Wholesale pricing is an independent buying benefit. Applicable discounts are validated against their own promotion rules rather than a storefront wholesale-margin calculation. A kit earns once for its sold SKU; its included components do not generate duplicate kit earnings. Options not offered as separately selectable cart items are not treated as separate variant purchases.

Purchases made under an authorized wholesale account do not earn storefront commission, ordinary referral rewards, or an automatic first-order offer. Wholesale prices do not stack with those retail discounts. Business wholesale purchase reporting is separate from the placing user's customer order ownership. An authorized wholesale purchase may ship to a customer address, but shipping to that address does not automatically enroll that customer or create a preferred-contact relationship. Do not route your own or your business's purchases through your storefront to manufacture profit or wholesale arbitrage.

Retail free-shipping promotions do not apply to authorized wholesale purchases, including products charged at their normal price because no wholesale price is configured. Wholesale shipping is charged using the product-based rates quoted at checkout. The ordinary retail free-shipping policy remains available to eligible non-wholesale purchases.

3. Storefront commission rate, discounts & referral exception

For new eligible storefront orders under this policy, the business earns a commission at its assigned storefront rate: 12% by default unless Rowkin assigns that store a different rate. The assigned rate is shown in My Storefront. Commission is calculated from eligible net merchandise sales after allocated discounts; shipping and tax are excluded. At the default 12% rate, $350 of merchandise reduced by a $35 discount creates a $315 commission basis and $37.80 of pending commission, regardless of wholesale cost. Rowkin bears ordinary payment-processing and fulfillment costs; those ordinary costs are not additionally deducted from the stated commission. Earnings belong to the business, not to an individual employee.

A rate assignment applies prospectively only to new eligible orders and is frozen with the validated rate at checkout. It does not alter an order that is already frozen, prepared, or paid, and does not rewrite a historical order, earning, adjustment, or payout. Orders frozen under an earlier policy retain their original wholesale-margin calculation or recorded commission rate and are not retroactively recomputed. An authorized owner must expressly accept this v5 variable-rate agreement in My Storefront before a store-specific rate can be assigned or used. After that genuine v5 acceptance, Rowkin may assign or change the rate for future eligible orders, with the current rate shown in My Storefront and an owner notification. Prior acceptance, account creation, a displayed rate, or an administrator's proposed assignment is not acceptance of this v5 variable-rate agreement.

Eligible merchandise discounts reduce net receipts and therefore reduce the commission. Personal reward credits used by an eligible retail customer are payment tender, not a merchandise discount, and do not themselves reduce the commission basis. The amount is rounded to cents on the order basis, with cumulative refund adjustments reconciled to that same frozen rate. Every valid attributed storefront sale can earn, including repeat orders; this is different from the ordinary first-order-only 10% referral commission.

Explicit storefront exception: an otherwise eligible first-order consumer referral code may still give its permitted customer discount on a storefront sale, but neither that code nor another ordinary referral attribution creates an extra referral commission on the storefront order. One order has at most one storefront beneficiary. The ordinary Referral Program Terms remain unchanged for qualifying purchases outside storefront and wholesale channels; do not describe this storefront exception as a change to all referral orders.

4. Attribution & order records

The public URL uses /store/{store-ID}/{URL-name}. The short store ID is permanently assigned and cannot be edited. The readable URL name may be edited, but old supported links remain attached to the same business and redirect to its current URL. Changing the URL name never changes the beneficiary of an existing paid-order snapshot. A valid storefront entry may establish attribution for up to 30 days. The last valid storefront entry replaces an earlier storefront attribution. Internal navigation, page reloads, and repeated use of the same entry do not extend the original attribution window. A first-party signed browser context may be linked to an account at signup or login; cross-device recognition requires an identified account and is not promised for an anonymous visitor.

Checkout records freeze the validated storefront source, prices, discount allocation, commission model and rate, and applicable policy version for the order; wholesale purchases separately freeze their wholesale prices. Later changes to your public profile or price configuration do not rewrite that snapshot. Payment confirmation, not a cart, checkout visit, or abandoned attempt, creates the eligible paid-order earning. Rowkin may reject invalid attribution, self-purchases, duplicate benefits, fraud, or abusive activity.

5. Pending earnings, 30-day hold & safety review

An eligible earning is pending for a 30-day review hold after payment. Reaching day 30 is not an unconditional release: unshipped orders, cancellation, returns, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, unresolved safety concerns, or manual review can keep an earning held until resolved. The account shows the recorded pending, available, reserved, spent, paid-out, and adjustment activity; an email is not the authoritative balance.

When the period and applicable holds are cleared, available earnings may be used as authorized business credits on wholesale purchases or reserved for a manual payout request. These are business credits, separate from personal customer referral credits. Available funds cannot be spent and reserved for payout at the same time. A negative available balance blocks new business-credit spending and payout requests until resolved.

6. Returns, refunds & late adjustments

Storefront earnings remain subject to corrections and refunds, including after the hold period, credit use, or a payout. This differs from the ordinary referral program's routine late-refund treatment. For orders under the percentage-commission model, both eligible merchandise returns and merchandise-only goodwill refunds reduce the remaining net merchandise commission basis. Adjustments use the rate frozen with the order and cumulative cent rounding, so a full merchandise refund reverses the full original commission. Refunded tax or shipping alone does not change commission. Earlier wholesale-margin orders retain their original returned-unit and wholesale-cost reversal rules.

If a payment-provider refund cannot yet be reliably allocated between merchandise, tax, shipping, or returned units, the related earning stays held until the allocation is resolved. Partial refunds, cancellations, disputes, fraud, and errors are recorded as auditable adjustments rather than edits to the original earning. Later adjustments can reduce or make the available business balance negative, even after an earlier payout. Rowkin does not automatically debit a bank account to recover a negative balance; support will review the account and appropriate next steps.

7. Manual cash payout requests

You may request a manual cash payout from an eligible available business balance through the authorized business workspace. Any applicable minimum or eligibility requirements are shown in the request flow; these terms do not promise a fixed tax or payout threshold. Submitting a request reserves the requested amount and creates a review record. It is not proof of payment and does not guarantee a payment date.

Each new request is notified to both support@rowkin.com and admin@rowkin.com for offline review, with a separate acknowledgement to the authorized requester. Rowkin Support may follow up operationally about the request. This program does not provide automatic bank transfers, a hosted payout provider, or a bank-account/card-data form. Do not upload or send bank credentials, payment-card details, or sensitive financial documents through storefront chat or the payout request.

A request may be reviewing, paid, rejected, or canceled as recorded in the workspace. An administrator may mark it paid only after confirming an actual offline payment and recording its payment date and reference. Rejection or permitted cancellation releases the reserved balance subject to other account adjustments and holds. Status notices do not replace the recorded request or prove an unrecorded payment occurred.

8. Buyer connection, preferred contact & private chat

A verified paid storefront purchase creates the business/customer purchase relationship and an authorized view of that storefront's purchased orders, not access to the customer's unrelated orders, account histories, private Energy Agent conversations, or other businesses' records. If the customer has no preferred product contact, this business may become that contact. An existing preference is not automatically replaced. A product-only contact is never automatically designated a service electrician. If the business is independently qualified to provide services and the customer has no service-priority selection, it can also become a non-exclusive priority contact for future eligible service matching. This does not bypass licensing, scope, location, insurance or availability checks, replace an existing choice or explicit removal, or book work. Customers can change or remove this service priority separately.

Customers can change or remove the preferred product contact using available account controls. A purchase relationship is not a service request, job, confirmed appointment, or permission to market. Private customer/business messaging requires an intentional messaging action and is accessible only to that customer, authorized members of the connected Pro business, and Rowkin staff or systems with an operational need. Do not disclose it publicly or use another customer's information.

Share only the minimum information needed for the authorized purchase or requested follow-up. Use customer contact and purchase context for operational assistance, support, and the customer's requested next step, not unsolicited campaigns. Preferred contact, program acceptance, and purchase attribution are not marketing opt-in. Respect changed preferences, removal requests, communication controls, and applicable privacy and messaging law. Changing a preference does not erase order, audit, safety, or support records that must be retained.

9. Storefront content, uploads & honest disclosure

Publish only business details, logos, images, and material you own or have permission to use. You authorize Rowkin to host, display, and adapt those submissions as reasonably needed to operate your chosen storefront and program features. You retain your rights in your content. Do not upload confidential customer information, unlawful material, deceptive claims, malicious files, or someone else's intellectual property without permission.

A private account photo or personal contact detail is not automatically a public storefront asset. Choose public logo, cover, profile-photo, and contact settings deliberately and review the preview. Do not imply that your business is Rowkin, an exclusive representative, or licensed for work it cannot perform. Use Rowkin branding only as permitted for the program; do not alter it to suggest an endorsement or unsupported warranty.

Disclose your business's financial relationship clearly when promoting your storefront, using language such as the published storefront share disclosure. Keep disclosures easy to notice with the recommendation and comply with applicable advertising and endorsement rules, including FTC disclosure requirements where applicable. The ordinary referral disclosure at /referral-terms is for a different reward relationship and does not by itself explain repeat storefront commissions.

10. Business records, taxes & compliance

The authorized business owner may upload a reseller certificate securely in the Wholesale shop for administrator review. Uploading a certificate alone does not grant an exemption. Pending, rejected, revoked, expired, or unsupported certificates remain taxable under the applicable checkout calculation. After verification, qualifying wholesale purchases for resale may receive exemption only within the approved jurisdictions and validity period; a certificate is not a blanket exemption for personal use, consumed contractor materials, unrelated customers, or every shipping destination. Rowkin retains verification and order-tax records for the relevant purchase; later status changes do not silently rewrite prior paid orders.

Your business is responsible for accurate business and tax information, its own accounting and tax obligations, and applicable resale, advertising, privacy, licensing, and consumer-protection requirements. Rowkin may request the information needed for legally required reporting or review through an appropriate secure process. This page does not give tax advice, promise a tax exemption, invent a reporting threshold, or warrant that participation satisfies every local rule.

Service authorization, utility permission, property approval, product safety, and tax treatment are separate questions. Product sales and storefront activation do not substitute for qualified advice, permits, or licenses when those are required.

11. Customer support, complaints & product coverage

30-day returns for unused items in original packaging. Defective items can be returned within 90 days. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive the returned item, to the original payment method. The full published returns process at /returns governs review, RMA instructions, item condition, shipping arrangements, and exchanges. A storefront purchase does not remove these product return options. Contact support before mailing a return; submitting a request alone does not complete a refund.

Product warranties follow the applicable component-specific written terms summarized at /warranty. Do not invent additional coverage, guaranteed energy savings, installation legality, or a uniform kit warranty. Work by an independent service Pro is not automatically covered by the equipment warranty. If equipment appears unsafe, stop using it and seek qualified help; do not open electrical equipment to diagnose it.

For a purchase, connection, earning, payout, content, or conduct complaint, use Rowkin Support or support@rowkin.com with the relevant order, business, or request reference. Do not include sensitive payment or bank data. Rowkin reviews complaints and recorded transactions; no particular resolution is guaranteed in advance. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Program administration & changes

Rowkin may investigate abuse, correct errors, request updated information, restrict access, or change or end the program as permitted by law. New terms are presented with their version when renewed acceptance is required; existing acceptance is not silently rewritten. An existing genuine acceptance of an earlier storefront version remains recognized for default storefront participation, while a store-specific rate requires the owner's separate recorded acceptance of this v5 agreement. Changes do not rewrite a paid order's frozen prices, commission rate/model, costs, attribution, or policy snapshot, but its earnings can still be adjusted under the applicable refund, dispute, and correction rules.

Unpublishing or ending participation stops new public selling but does not erase prior purchases, open support matters, holds, adjustments, or payout records. These program-specific terms control the storefront and wholesale matters they describe if they conflict with a general program summary, subject always to non-waivable rights. Read /pro-service-terms for service participation, /referral-terms for ordinary personal referrals, and /privacy for information practices.
